| ABC spoke with City Lines about participants riding on the Mayo Commuter Buses in the AM and PM. Upon arrival to downtown Rochester, participants can transfer to other buses and arrive at work by 8 or 8:30 AM. With proper training and trials from staff, many participants use this every day. For some who require more support, ABC staff can meet them downtown to assist them with transfers. Currently, ABC/AE uses this system in Spring Valley, Stewartville, Chatfield, and Kasson. A monthly pass for this costs around $130.00 per month. R&S Services would cost over $600 per month. |
| The result of this is that people have more inclusion and community connections with other bus riders, increased natural supports, lower transportation costs: all using resources that currently exist in the community. |
